We absolutely love our new Rockwood Kitchen. From the time we began the process of design with Vanessa to popping into the showroom and meeting Tommy, all the way to the end of installation, every person we worked with was professional, friendly and SO willing to help make our vision become a reality. It didn't feel like we were working with a company, but with family.

In a renovation you can feel anxious about your decisions, doubt what you've chosen or even have the need to make changes. Vanessa was quick to relieve our stress with her true sense of understanding and her real interest in our project. It became hers, and for us, that was important. She spent many hours on our design to make it perfect and when we thought it was, she found more ways to make it even better. During installation, if something wasn't right, which is normal in any reno, it was noticed by the installer and fixed or taken care of immediately. If we noticed anything after installation, again, without any hesitation, it was taken care of. Our cabinets are beautiful on the outside and very functional on the inside. I actually have more than enough cupboards and drawer space.

We wish we had gone with Rockwood for our granite...we found out after our purchase, that the company we went with used the same supplier as Rockwood uses, and we paid more! Rockwood uses top of the line suppliers with many different grades of stone for you to choose from. Don't hesitate to let them quote you on this as well.

I knew our kitchen would be beautiful but it turned out to be more so than I ever imagined it would. With the renovations we did in the surrounding rooms everything flows like it's always been there.

We highly recommend Rockwood Kitchens to everyone we know and all who have seen our new kitchen love it.

Here is our experience with Rockwood Kitchens

So when the truck came, we were excited!! So excited that when the truck pulled up….we both peeked out the window and took pics! Don’t believe me??? Here is the proof with pictures :)

The guys from Rockwood Kitchens brought in a big blanket and laid a path from the front hall to our kitchen. While I don’t care about the tile floor, I do care about our wood stairs. The finish is coming off, and the stain is fading so any wet boots would do damage. It was raining and they were carrying in pieces back and forth. This kept my floors clean, and I didn’t have any mopping to do when they were done.

Whenever they weren’t looking we kept sneaking in and snapping pictures! LOL I am sure we could’ve asked, b/c they were super nice, and professional, but we didn’t want to bother them.

They told us they would be here from 3-6 pm. They did call to tell us they were a little late leaving their last job, and had a bit of a drive here. They arrived around 3:30, and worked diligently. They were finished and out of here before 6. And left us with a beautiful transformation.
They answered any questions we had, and made sure we had no more questions after they left. Everyone we dealt with from Rockwood Kitchens has been kind and professional.

They even gave us 2 Quartz pieces to make hot plates out of. They have come in really handy.

After they installers left, I wiped down the counters to get any dust off, and we found a couple of thumb prints I couldn’t get off. They had a little bit of compound on their fingers when they were putting the drawers back. It wasn’t too noticeable, but I wasn’t able to get them off. We contacted them, and they sent someone back as soon as they could.

It was one of the installers who came, and I sort of thought it would be awkward, but he was like oh no! Let’s see what we can do. He was able to get it off (and even a couple of the boys finger prints I missed LOL). He didn’t do any damage to the finish, and was very pleasant and professional.

I am a firm believer that no matter how great a company you are, you are going to make mistakes from time to time. It’s how you handle the situation that shows how good a company you are. That was a minor issue, but to us it was a bit of a panic moment. We didn’t want to use a harsher product on it as it might ruin the finish. None of our mild stuff did anything. They came in with a nice natural product, and cleaned it quickly and effectively. He was gone in a 5 minute period, and I was happy. Hubby had ran to get the groceries, came back and it was finished.

Rockwood relies heavily on satisfied customers, and word of mouth advertising. As a happy customer that firmly believes in word of mouth advertising and the power of reviews, I wanted to tell you all about them. I didn’t receive any sort of compensation for discount for this review, just a happy customer that wants you to know you can trust them.

I would like to thank RockWood Kitchens Peterborough for providing me and my Husband with high quality product at very affordable prices!

We had all our kitchen cabinets replaced as well as our counter top and are extremely happy with the end result! The installers were extremely professional and all was completed within the estimated times.

We have a small 10×11 kitchen but Lindsay Mason was able to work with us to provide the best counter space available. The original quartz we had chosen as well as our initial sink choice were not available but Lindsay was quickly able to accommodate our requests with something appropriate to meet our expectations.

f you are thinking of undertaking a major renovation in your home - namely your kitchen - we would like to recommend Rockwood Kitchens to you. We were drawn to Rockwood Kitchens as a result of their marketing campaign offering a brand new kitchen at a “rock bottom” price. We must say we were nervous and skeptical but have come through the experience very happy and pleased with the appearance and functionality of our new kitchen space.

We appreciated our Designers [Vanessa] patience as we explored ideas which would customize our area and make it unique. We valued her expertise when it came to what works best for preparation and work space. Picking out our deluxe counter and island granite was quite an experience and put a custom stamp on our kitchen. The island area certainly enhanced the entire area, making it one of a kind.

The workers are very professional and respect your home as they work leaving it in a clean and tidy condition. We particularly appreciated the fact that they came at the appointed time and kept to the agreed to work schedule.

Once again, we commend the staff and workers at Rockwood Kitchens and would highly recommend them to you if you are wanting to upgrade and increase the value of your home.
